I know I said I'd be back today one way or another, but as it turns out, while I am finally getting over being sick (while still struggling with crippling insomnia, whoo), my mother-in-law has become very sick. Nothing life-threatening, but enough that she requires serious care and has to stay home from work. Considering the fact that she takes a sick day about as often as a blue moon, it's kind of a big deal.
And I, fresh from recovering from being sick, get to tend to a sick person. Great.
She has a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning, and if she's feeling well enough, she may go back to work, but as it is, I'm probably going to be stuck looking after her tomorrow as well.
I'm really, really sorry about the last week. It feels like I've done literally no work on the game in almost ten days, and it's really frustrating. Just, please, bear with me for just a little longer.
Hey mang it's coo.
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel. when my family gets sick i'm the last to get sick and the first to get better. So I usualy get to take care of everyone else. Hope to see you back soon.
ReplyDeletetry melatonin i somtimes have mild insomnia and it helps i take about 10 to 15 mg of it
ReplyDeleteNah, best cure for insomnia is activity. Run, jump, spar, dig a hole (digging a trench may be better) burn afay the energy. Melatonin also, I guess.
ReplyDeleteSo... life happened? Its cool, we understand that real life comes first, especially when its health-related.
ReplyDeleteI've been following this game for literally years at this point. I'm not going to be too bothered if you need to take off a couple days to deal with life.
ReplyDeletehey life happens taking time off to deal with it is no big deal. Though you may want to take a page from the Japanese and wear a surgical mask just in case what she has and what you had are different, as both your immune systems are weak hers from fighting what she has and yours is still recovering from what you had.
ReplyDeleteComing from someone who had a cousin with a double lung transplant... Surgical masks only help against coughs and barely at that. And I'm talking about the ones you get over the counter. They won't protect you from air born illnesses, just liquid born like sneezing and coughing. Doctors told her to wear it not because it would keep the germs out, but because it would keep people away from her. No one wants to approach someone with a medical mask strapped to their face o.o
DeleteAnyway, hope you get better! Take your time and take care of yourself! ^.^ I'll patiently wait for a new update!
Don't sweat a couple weeks of non-progress; anyone who is still here sat through a year long hiatus anyways! We are a patient bunch, just don't code sick. Weird things happen when people do that.
ReplyDeleteWhat the guy above me said. We might now say as much as we used to, but we still watch.
ReplyDeleteDude ya alive?
ReplyDeleteIs the newspaper subscription implemented yet?
ReplyDeleteI was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
ReplyDeleteliver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
