Donation Update

So there have been no donations this week. Just throwing that out there.

I want to point out that while donations are nice, they're not required, and I'm not overly concerned about going one week without donations. I don't want to sound like I'm greedy or anything, because this really is a labor of love at times. That being said, I do my best to make sure that I earn whatever donations I receive. I work pretty hard on this game, usually streaming 8-9 hours a week, and working offline planning things out as well.

And now I sound like I'm begging for money and I don't like it! Argh! I can't win.

Anyway, like I said, one week of no donations isn't that big a deal, but, if you wanted to request an addition to the game, now's a pretty good time.

  1. Honestly, I think you just need to get your game out there. It doesn't seem as though that many people are aware of its existance, judging by the amount of comments you're getting to your blog posts, which is a shame since it's a pretty cool game.

    1. Not necessarily. For example, I have been playing this game since before this blog existed (I think, it was of tfgamesite first right?) but this is the first time I have ever commented.

    1. I don't do donation drives. I have weekly donation goals. Kind of like how Fenoxo has monthly goals. Only shorter term.

    1. I've also got a couple of other ways to increase dexterity in the pipeline, but yes, for now, play the guitar.

  5. Major problem with the game is that the saves are not compatible between versions, but as I understand you can't do anything about that before RAGS itself decides to support it (somehow).

    I imagine you'll still probably hit your goal, like you usually do when you point ominously toward the tip jar. After all, you managed to hit your goal last week after doing one partial stream.

  7. odd for me it showed that the weekly goal for donation was met last week and that the goal is now at 90 (hope im wrong and not the counter)

  8. I had considered making a donation for the addition of ABDL stuff, but your 'Things that will never be in Cursed' page made it clear diapers were a no go.

    On a comparably odd front, do you have a full cow TF ending in yet?

    1. The cat, cow and succubus TFs are non-game-ending. There is a plan for a succubus bad end (basically, you let your nature control you), and a plan for a milk bad end which could be considered a cow bad end I suppose, but for the most part, those three TFs aren't designed to end the game.

  9. Very few significant updates mean less donations, just human nature.

    Get something ballin out there and you will be printing money.

  12. Two things.

    First, when it's commented on if it's missed or merely in danger of being missed - every single time - it's not a weekly goal. It's a weekly expectation. You've gotten the money so often that it's no longer a happy occurrence when it happens, it's immediately noteworthy if you don't. Fair enough. Things change.

    That said, you know how people use the saying, "I don't mean to offend, but..." to insult you while acting like you shouldn't be angry? Same thing as asking for money while saying you're not begging, but...

  13. I wish the third and fourth jobs would get something done with them. It almost feels like you're adding storyline in lieu of adding these options. Without them you can't really choose to resist your fate, which is essential in creating choice. IMHO of course.
    But it's evolving and is interesting.

  14. When it comes to jobs, you're working too hard on the last 10%, and not hard enough on the first 90%. Nude Model is an optional offshoot of one career, requiring several promotions to even access. Rather then coding this, or other branches of the lengthy stripper career, I think your time would be better spent coding the entry jobs for the other careers available.

    Having 4 job folders, only to find out one is about 15% complete, and two are not even selectable, it's a bad first impression.

  15. Regarding jobs, it's be nice if their development kept pace with each other, even if it was staggered such as:
    Job A: Can reach level 5 (ie: hooker)
    Job B: Can reach level 4 (ie: supervisor)
    Job C: Can reach level 2
    Job D: Can start but not be promoted.

    Would give players some limited choice and also permit them to give feedback on one career path while another is being worked on.
