The Not Update

Yeah, that Call Girl update? About 33% done. Because it dramatically changes the way jobs work (you work from home, essentially), it requires a lot more work to get it into the game. Because that's the only thing I worked on, other than the tweaks, I'm not going to post a version update this time; what I've added isn't even in the game yet, so it would be a pointless update.

I'll be working on Call Girl on Thursdays until it's done. It'll probably take a couple of weeks to get it fully done, but it should be an interesting new job when it's done. For example, while you can be hired just for sex (hey, you're a call girl), some people will want an escort to a fancy party. Will you act slutty or aloof? Some people will want an escort to special events like weddings. What will you do?

But sadly, that's not in the cards for this update. In fact, this update isn't even an update as far as downloading it is concerned...Sorry about that.

Major Updates:
- Call Girl job 33% implemented.

Bug Fixes and Tweaks:
- Fixed the Strip Everything command to only check items that have been bought.
- Changed the Inhibitions reductor testing item command to lower it in 10 point increments, rather than setting it to 25.

  1. Well, I've been playing for a bit now, and there is one bug which could make things a bit more difficult. If it affects the game as it appears to.

    When casting any of the Mental spells, you lose 1 point of Natural Charisma.

    Now I don't know if this is simply a bug in the way you calculate (and display) Natural Charisma, because the numbers no longer add up. On the other hand, if the calculation is used to determine advancement (as I believe it is), then casting Mental spells can prevent advancement.

    Of course, you may already know this and it may be planned.

    1. Spells always have a price. The mental school, which unnaturally increases your charisma, decreases your natural charisma for each spell you cast. In other words, relying on magic to increase your charisma weakens your natural ability.

      So that's working as intended. Most methods of increasing your natural charisma can be reused, but in essence, the more you rely on magic, the more you're forced to rely on magic.

  3. Small request: Is it possible to put the weather state next to the date information, before the arousal state? With some of the longer arousal descriptions, it can be a pain to get the weather unless playing on full screen, something I like to avoid cuz, well, damn thats a lot of blank white space.

  4. ^The above is a good idea.

    Because taking a nap on the pew does not advance time, as neither do the church visits, it's possible to spam them over a single day. The visit taking no time is convenient and plausible if the church is very nearby, but napping taking no time doesn't make sense.

    1. You shouldn't be able to spam either command. It should lock out the command after doing it once. If it doesn't, I need to fix that.

  5. Tiny bug: All the nuns have "talk with sister claire" as an option, regardless of whether or not they are, in fact, sister claire. Does not appear to be significant to gameplay.
    Also typo: "bed meal" instead of "best meal" in one of the helping nun events.

  6. ^Addendum: The game also calls Su Li "Claire" in the game, not just in the work/talk/flirt choice box.
