More work?

Time for some coding. Did some over the weekend, but working on a netbook is...difficult at best. So let's see how far we can get today.

  2. Like I said before could we get a percentage update on the update information to at least bring it into the new year?

  3. Has the game grown out of the RAGS framework? I've read a complaint or two (namely about clothing management) and I'm wondering if you have considered writing your own adventure engine. More work to an already solo project of course but I'm just curious if you've run into any serious limitations with RAGS.

    1. The biggest limitation that I've run into with RAGS is the code itself: unless you actually decide to incorporate Java into the game (which it does support), the engine simply does not let you do certain things. And the things that it does let you do are pretty rigid: if I want to change a variable, I have to use the Set Variable command, which takes longer to set up than a simple "x = 2;" line.

That being said, RAGS is really good at keeping stuff straight. So it's kind of a tradeoff between functionality and usability.

  5. So I love the game and have been playing it off and on for a few months now. I moved the files for the game over to my laptop and I guess it affected my save or something because now some weird stuff has happened like I lost my call list, can't wear any shoes other than last worn or sneakers, my succubus minimum lust thing is also broken(transformation isn't complete yet so I don't know if that will make it work properly again, at 90% or so transformation done now).

Other than those though I haven't noticed anything else and the call list was easy to fix with the testing item. Is there a quick way to edit the save to get the shoes working again?
