Still Not Dead

I have been working on Cursed the last few days, but only for less than an hour, which I planned and therefore didn't feel was really worth streaming. Someone (anonymous) suggested a couple posts back that I try to work on it every day, even in small amounts, so I've been trying it out. It's kind of surprising the amount of work that you can get done in 30-45 minutes when all you're doing is writing and don't have to worry about keeping people entertained.

That doesn't mean I won't ever stream Cursed stuff again, though. The nice thing about my new job is that it's extremely predictable when it comes to scheduling, something I haven't had the luxury of in almost 5 years. That means I know when I'm working a half day, when I'm working on a weekend, and so on, and the good news is I usually have Saturdays and Sundays off. Sundays are when I do other stuff, but Saturdays are pretty open, barring some last minute schoolwork.

And who knows, maybe one of these days I'll get used to my new schedule and not be creatively exhausted by 6:30 so that I can stream for longer periods of time.

Anyway, tl;dr Still working on Cursed, just not streaming it regularly. Still hoping for an update by the end of the month, or early (first week of) July.

  1. Really happy that Cursed is getting more and happy there is the possibility of an update within a couple of weeks.

  2. Always better that you have other things sorted away before diving back into the game big time. Just enjoy the structure you have now!

  3. Hang in there! Your updates are always worth waiting for.

  4. To be completely honest, I've never understood how you could actually accomplish anything with a stream going. Were it me, I'd be so distracted I'd never get anything done, or I'd just ignore the stream anyway and never respond.

    1. That may be half the problem. Creative blocks are worse when people are watching and you feel compelled to do SOMETHING.

    2. I agree with Torvalds' motto of "Release early and release often" but I imagine even he would be nervous about having a camera sitting over his shoulder while he worked.

  5. Will there be public nudity fix included in the next update?

    1. Not in this update, but the next one, yes. Sorry, I said I'd prioritize the Britney content, so I'm working on that.

  6. I really don't like that all the quests are just lesbo content...

    3. I think I speak for all regular straight males in saying that if I was transformed into a hot girl, I'd go lesbian in a heartbeat.

YOU want a dick inside of you, nothing wrong with that of course . . .

    1. Scroll down the webpage and look for the section titled Games on the right side. First make sure you have downloaded and installed the RAGS Suite (there's a link at the bottom of the Games section, then you have to use the links to download the game files (again the link(s) are located in the Games section). After that all you have to do is click on the Cursed (or TTF) file to start RAGS and begin playing.

  8. I concur with other folks - I'd much rather you get work on the game done than worry about streaming. Writing BE/TF fic is a minor hobby of mine and I get distracted enough as it is just from having music/tv/web access at the same time I'm writing. I do best when I turn it all off an just focus on the writing. Or, if I'm writers blocked, I try to think of a chunk of material while doing some other activity (shower/work/driving/etc), and then just dump it all to the computer at once. I don't think I could get much of anything accomplished with someone looking over my shoulder, let along trying to have a conversation with them.

Oh, and keep up the good work! Thanks for everything you've gotten done!

  9. Top priorities right now are to

    1. Get SOMETHING in the game, soon. This could just be a tiny buxfix, if it needs to be.

    2. Make another post on this blog.

Most fetish sites' last posts are "We're not dead, we're just [insert fairly easy to deal with issue here] and we'll update soon!"
