New computer!

Yup, it's up, and it's working.

Now to hook up my other hard drives and get everything back to normal...ish.

  2. From one anonymous to another... way to sound like a dick. Take your time, enjoy the new system, and can't wait to play the newest edition!

  3. Agreed. I've been there and know for a fact that it takes at least a month to be back to some sort of comfortable with your system when everything goes to crap. At the very least, having to reinstall stuff is always irritating. I'd rather that the next version came because of enjoyment of building it, rather than a rather lower quality forced version, myself. I guess that patience isn't something striven for, nowadays.

  4. You're probably already aware of this, but for the "Nude Model" job, you can go to the job, but there is nothing to do there and you cannot leave, which kind of traps your character there. Anyway, I'm glad you've got your computer. I'd be completely lost without mine.

  5. Unrelated to this post, but - why can I set meals to sparse, use weight loss powder 3 times a day, spend every available time slot doing one form of exercise or another, and STILL GAIN WEIGHT?

It's obnoxious, especially considering it's horrifyingly difficult to then lose that weight...

  6. To the Anonymous above that's because weight loss powder makes you GAIN weight. Stop using the powder and you won't end up fat. The reasoning for this is simple have you ever seen weight loss powder that works?
